I am a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I am passionate about natural nutrition, fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
I truly believe that by eating real food and moving your body more, everyone can improve their health.
I have always been active however, this changed once I had children. Like many women I found I had no free time and the first thing to go was exercise and taking care of myself. I tried to lose weight and get healthy but life always seemed to get in the way of my success.
Once I made the commitment to focus on myself, it became easier to fit in exercise and eating healthier. I lost some weight but I still didn’t feel very good. I had no energy and was feeling bloated after meals and frustrated. Instinctively I knew that eating healthy food and moving more was the key to success, but I wasn’t sure how to translate this into everyday life. After some time, I became aware that certain foods would make me feel worse. Once I changed my diet to eliminate them, everything started to fall into place.
